There are 8 billion people in the world today, of which over 1.9 billion people are Muslims, <\/p>\n

Every day, they wake up hungry, and they go to bed hungry. Their frail bodies no longer possess the strength to put up a fight. <\/p>\n

Every day is a struggle to survive on a battlefield where they are no match for their opponent. They continue to pay a heavy price for crimes they did not commit \u2014 they remain oppressed, simply because the world remains silent towards their struggles.<\/p>\n

Every day, they look up at the sky and pray to God to bless someone like you with goodwill. They pray that someone, somewhere, comes to their aid\u2026 Without external help, they may never make it out of these living conditions.<\/p>\n

As Eid Al-Adha approaches, they remain unsure if they\u2019ll even have enough food this week to make it until Eid. <\/p>\n

The Ummah continues to struggle in every corner of the world. Especially,<\/p>\n

With over 10 years of brutal conflict and 2.4 million children suffering from malnutrition, Yemeni children are the most affected by the war and its repercussions\u2014directly or indirectly. The country remains engulfed in one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world, which keeps worsening every passing day.<\/p>\n

This Eid Al-Adha, 17 million people will go to bed hungry in Yemen. For them, Eid is just another day of survival. Still, they long to celebrate. <\/p>\n

As the oppression and atrocities worsen beyond human comprehension, our brothers and sisters in Palestine \u2014 especially in the Gaza Strip \u2014 are forced into mass starvation. The tightened blockade has become a deathly threat to the food security of about 70% of families, with more than 30% living below the poverty line.<\/p>\n

As the oppression and atrocities worsen beyond human comprehension, our brothers and sisters in Palestine \u2014 especially in the Gaza Strip \u2014 are forced into mass starvation. The tightened blockade has become a deathly threat to the food security of about 70% of families, with more than 30% living below the poverty line.<\/p>\n

Its people are denied anything humane. And still, despite the brutalities, the circle of life goes on. Women continue to give birth under these circumstances, babies continue to be born, children continue to hope for some sense of life, and elders continue to try and deliver some degree of normalcy to their offsprings\u2026<\/p>\n

Despite everything, the people of Palestine, continue to hold on to the thinning rope of hope, and the everlasting rope of faith. Every year before this one, despite the occupation, Palestinians tried their best to celebrate Eid in whatever capacity they could. But this year, they have been starved and devastated to the extent that even the ability to put in the effort to celebrate has been robbed from them!<\/p>\n

13 Years of prolonged war has made our Refugee brothers and sisters in Refugee Camps endure excruciating agony. They\u2019ve lost their homes, their loved ones, and their entire livelihoods\u2026 But, sadly, things have not been getting easier for them.<\/p>\n

In February of 2024, a powerful Earthquake shook the region, and claimed the lives of over 9,000 Refugees, with thousands more having to flee their homes and abandon whatever little of life they had previously held on to. As Summer approaches their living conditions are bound to worsen.<\/p>\n

In Lebanon\u2019s Arsal Camps<\/strong><\/h3>\n

With the war, hundreds and thousands of individuals and families have been forced to flee the country in order to survive. Fortunately, countries like Lebanon took them in as refugees, but their struggles are far from over. More than 80,000 refugees live in Arsal, in around 11,000 tents and 125 asylum camps.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, these camps are in the worst possible conditions, and the living conditions for the humans in these are worse still.<\/p>\n

These refugees of Arsal Camp suffer from the worst economic, health, and environmental conditions, facing an acute shortage of basic human needs like food, water, and electricity. What makes their situation even worse is the continental climate in the city of Arsal. The constant poverty, gnawing hunger, and lack of normalcy push these families further into poverty and misery \u2014 without external help, it is impossible for them to break through these shackles of constant and consistent trauma. <\/p>\n

This Eid Al-Adha, while the rest of the Muslim world gathers around their lavish table spreads for Eid Al-Adha, vulnerable Muslims worldwide will long for just a morsel of food to give them the energy to make it through to the next day. <\/p>\n

Every Eid Al-Adha, Muslims all around the world sacrifice animals to commemorate the memory of Hazrat Ibrahim AS. But one more reason why we do this is to ensure that there is a healthy flow of resources and food throughout the Ummah. According to Hadith and Sunnah, we must share our Qurbani with the less privileged.<\/p>\n

You may even choose to donate your entire Qurbani or do two Qurbanis \u2014 one for yourself, and one for the Ummah. The latter is called Prophetic Qurbani, and is a Sunnah that can earn you Jannah!<\/p>\n

But what makes the act of giving your Qurbani even more blessed, is that Eid Al-Adha falls in the first 10 days of Dhul-Hijjah. These 10 days are more blessed than any day of the year, and all the good deeds you do in these 10 nights are the most beloved to Allah SWT!<\/p>\n

\n[Al-Insan 12-5]<\/b><\/p>\n

In the Qur\u2019an, Allah SWT tells us, that those of the Ummah who \u201cfulfill their vows and fear a Day of sweeping horror, and give food\u2014despite their desire for it\u2014to the poor, the orphan, and the captive, saying to themselves, \u201cWe feed you only for the sake of Allah, seeking neither reward nor thanks from you. We fear from our Lord a horribly distressful Day.\u201d\u201d<\/b>, Allah SWT will \u201cdeliver them from the horror of that Day, and grant them radiance and joy, and reward them for their perseverance with a Garden \u02f9in Paradise\u02fa and \u02f9garments of\u02fa silk.\u201d <\/b><\/p>\n

Al-Amal International Charity Organization was founded by a group of passionate young volunteers in Lebanon. The team began its work by implementing urgent and emergency relief projects and later expanded into other areas.
