The contamination of over 90% of Gaza’s water supply has led to a doubling of water-borne diseases, placing every child at serious risk of diarrhoea, as reported by UNICEF. Health experts caution of an impending exponential spread of diseases like cholera, typhoid, tuberculosis, and other sanitation-related illnesses.
