About the Campaign
The current aggression on Gaza is one of the deadliest and most destructive humanitarian catastrophes in recent history. The relentless bombardment continues to cause incomprehensible suffering, and the violent mass displacement has forced millions of people into overcrowded and underprepared shelters.

People are deprived of all resources that are fundamental for survival, while their lives, homes, families, and communities are cruelly torn apart.

Since the first week, our teams on the ground have been working around the clock to provide critical humanitarian response. So far, we have been able to implement initiatives across four core areas: medical support, food and water, sanitation/hygiene, and clothing.

With your generous support, and as the dire circumstances continue to worsen, we are committed to proceeding with the listed initiatives and expanding our efforts to reach even more Palestinians:

Medical Support
Our work in Gaza preceding the current aggression gave us immediate access to stocks of medicines, disposables, and consumables which largely fueled our prompt support to three hospitals. While we work to find more ways to provide ongoing support to hospitals, we have activated three mobile medical teams. By traveling across informal shelters, the teams provide essential primary care and women’s health services six days a week.

Additionally, psychosocial workers accompanying each team have been providing support to displaced children through conducting entertainment activities in hopes of alleviating some of the ongoing shock and trauma and drawing a small on their faces, even if for a brief moment.

Food Parcels and Drinking Water
Hunger and thirst have reached catastrophic levels in Gaza. In an effort to fight the widespread starvation that our people face, we have distributed several batches of both dry and fresh food parcels as well as drinking water to displaced families seeking refuge in informal shelters and host communities.

Hygiene and Dignity Kits
As people were forced to leave their homes at a moment’s notice and under terrifying circumstances, taking essential items with them, including hygiene products, was not possible at all. We have prepared and distributed Hygiene and Dignity Kits with sanitary supplies including soap, toilet paper, feminine hygiene products, and other basic essentials to support displaced families seeking refuge in informal shelters and among host communities.
