Gaza has been under siege for 8 months now, with indiscriminate bombings taking place daily. Starvation is now a reality in Gaza. Although the United Nations and the International Court of Justice (ICJ) have ordered Israel to halt the starvation of Gaza, deep down inside we all know that nothing is going to change. We know nothing will change unless WE – the brothers and sisters of the Muslims in Gaza – change it ourselves.

The Prophet [Prayers and Peace be Upon Him] said:

“On the day of resurrection God most High will say “… Son of Adam, I asked you for food but you gave me none.” He will reply, “My Lord, how could I feed You when You are the Lord of the universe?” He will say, “Did you not know that my servant so and so asked you for food and yet you gave him none? Did you not know that if you had fed him you would have found that with me?” {Muslim}

Now that we know the reality of the problem, what can we do to solve it?

AL-Noman is sending essential food aid to our team on the ground in Gaza to be distributed to those families facing malnutrition and starvation.
