The month of Ramadan is a time for giving and sharing with those in need. However, for many families in Lebanon, this year’s Ramadan will be challenging due to the economic crisis and the war in the region, especially in the south of Lebanon. With limited access to food and necessities, these families are struggling to put food on the table during this holy month

In Ramadan, our charity kitchen aims to support 50 families daily, including widows and orphans, by providing them with meals.

Takaful is collaborating with Lebanese Impact to raise funds for a Charity Kitchen. This initiative aims to provide hot meals to those in need in Lebanon, especially those displaced from the south due to the ongoing war in Israel. We appeal to your generosity to help us achieve our goal and bring positive change to the lives of those who need it most. The Charity Kitchen will be a crucial resource, offering hot meals in Lebanon, particularly in Saida, during Ramadan. With the persistent crisis, numerous families have been forced out of their homes, residing in temporary shelters or with relatives

Goals from this Donation:

1. To provide daily meals for individuals and families who are facing food insecurity and hunger in our community.

2. To purchase and maintain kitchen equipment, such as ovens and refrigerators, to ensure that we can continue to provide high-quality meals to those in need.

3. To hire and train staff and volunteers to run the kitchen, and provide them with the necessary resources to do their jobs effectively.

4. To purchase ingredients and supplies to make nutritious and healthy meals that meet the dietary needs of all those we serve.

5. To expand our reach and serve more people by opening additional locations, increasing our outreach efforts, and partnering with other organizations to reach those in need.

6. To provide education and training to those we serve, in order to help them become self-sufficient and improve their long-term prospects.

7. To secure funding for long-term sustainability and growth, so that we can continue to provide meals and services to those in need for many years to come.

8. To monitor and evaluate the progress and effectiveness of our programs, in order to continuously improve and adapt to the changing needs of our community.

9. To create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all those who come through our doors, regardless of their background or circumstances.

10. To make a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of those we serve by addressing the root causes of poverty and hunger in our community.

Why we need this Donations:

Donations to our kitchen will help us to make a greater impact on the lives of those facing hunger in our community. With additional funding, we will be able to purchase more ingredients and supplies to make more meals, hire more staff and volunteers to run the kitchen, and expand our reach to serve more people. With more resources at our disposal, we will be able to provide more nutritious and healthy meals to those who need them most, helping to alleviate the immediate suffering caused by hunger and poverty. Furthermore, donations will help us to purchase and maintain kitchen equipment, such as ovens and refrigerators, which will ensure that we can continue to provide high-quality meals to those in need. Additionally, donations will also help us to fund long-term initiatives that address the root causes of poverty and promote sustainable development. In short, donations will help us to make a greater impact in the lives of those facing hunger and to work towards a brighter future for our community.

Our Calculations:

For every meal expense of $5, we need donations of at least $30,000 to provide meals for 200 hungry person. This includes the cost of ingredients, equipment, and staff, as well as other expenses associated with running a kitchen. By donating to our kitchen, you are not only helping to provide a hot and nutritious meal for those who are struggling with hunger but also helping us to sustain our operations and to continue to provide meals in the future. ( 5$ meal x 200 person x 30 days = 30,000$)
