Rohingya Refugee Camp, Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh

Myanmar’s Muslim ethnic minority, the Rohingya, is one of the world’s most persecuted communities. Six years ago, on August 25, they escaped a brutal military crackdown and took shelter in neighboring Bangladesh. Now nearly 1.2 million Rohingya Muslims live in 33 congested refugee camps in Bangladesh without proper access to basic human needs.

Widows are going through the most challenging time inside the camp. Lone women who head refugee families in Bangladesh struggle with concerns about food, healthcare, and the welfare of the next generation.

Days come and go, but the fate of these persecuted people remains the same. Stories of Rohingya widows are almost similar. They have no income source to maintain their daily family expenses. They are totally depended on the aid provided by different charity organization.

There are more than 50,000 widows in the camp. They need care and support to survive in the sprawling camp. Donate now to be with these widow families.
